Seminars and Symposia

The Institute for Genomic Medicine (IGM) supports a weekly interdepartmental Genetics, Bioinformatics and Systems Biology Colloquium during the Academic Year. The series is organized by IGM, The Genetics Training Program and The Bioinformatics and Systems Biology Program.

The faculty co-chairs for the 2017-2018 series are Jonathan Sebat, PhD, Psychiatry and Sheng Zhong, PhD, Bioengineering.

Seminars are Thursdays at Noon in either the Leichtag Auditorium (Room 107) of the Leichtag Family Foundation Biomedical Research Building or the Fung Auditorium (Room 191) of the Powell-Focht Bioengineering Building.

The Genetics and Genomics component of the seminar series is made possible through support from UCSD School of Medicine. For 2016-2017, we extend our thanks to the Health Sciences Vice Chancellor’s Office and the Departments of Medicine, Neurosciences, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry for their support of this important seminar series.
