Our goal is to improve polygenic risk scores (PRS) for admixed individuals and diverse populations. We work on developing novel methods to perform genome-wide associations studies (GWAS) in multiple populations and admixed individuals. We are also interested in the associations of HLA types with disease and in their potential use for improving PRS calculation.
