Instructions for 10X Genomics Chromium X Sign Up:
Covid-19 policy update for 10X Genomics Chromium Controller use: Please note that we are now allowing limited access to the Chromium Controller while still following UCSD guidance with regards to Covid-19.
- We are only allowing access to one person at a time.
- We are only allowing two experiments per day: once in the AM (9-12PM) and once in the PM (12PM to after hours). Please check the calendar to ensure there is an open spot before signing up. Please plan ahead if you have a time sensitive project.
- All Samples will be processed in users own lab with materials provided by the IGM.
- Sign up using IGM Genomics Center 10X Genomics Chromium Controller Sign Up
- Fill out the 10X Genomics Manifest.
- Email the 10X Genomics Manifest to igmsamplesubmission@ucsd.edu AND bring a printed copy of your manifest with you when you come to process your samples.
- Once you have cDNA ready to run on the Tapestation, please make sure your manifest is in the 10X cDNA QC folder. Place labeled box in the 10X rack in the -20 C freezer or give to lab staff.
- Once QC is completed, you will find your manifest in the “10X In Progress” folder.
- Once you have Library ready to run on the Tapestation, please make sure your manifest is in the 10X Library QC folder. Place labeled box in the 10X rack in the -20 C freezer or give to lab staff.
- Once you have pooled samples ready for sequencing, fill out a Sequencing Manifest.
- Email the Sequencing Manifest to igmsamplesubmission@ucsd.edu AND bring a printed copy of your manifest with you when you bring your pooled samples
