Facilities & Other Resources on Grant Applications

The UCSD IGM Genomics Center offers full services in next generation sequencing, whole-genome genotyping and copy number variation analysis, and bioinformatics support for data analysis (see Services). The IGM Genomics Center offers assay design consultation, sequencing library preparation (DNA/RNA/smallRNA/targeted sequencing), single cell RNA sequencing (10X Genomics), llumina platform sequencing (MiSeq, HiSeq2500 (Rapid, V3 and V4 Chemistry), and HiSeq4000), PacBio SMRT sequencing and Illumina genotyping and methylation arrays.

The center occupies 2000 square feet of laboratory and office space, and is equipped with Illumina HiSeq2500 and HiSeq4000 sequencing systems, two Illumina cBot cluster generation systems, two Illumina MiSeq Benchtop Sequencer, an Illumina HiScan System, a PacBio RS II sequencing system, a 10X Genomics Chromium Controller, an Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer, Agilent 2200 and 4200 TapeStation Instruments, a Covaris E220 Focused-ultrasonicator, an Eppendorf epMotion liquid handling system, a PippinHT, a Roche Lightcycler 480, a NanoDrop ND-1000, and a Qubit 2.0 Fluorometer.

Letters of support are available upon request.

Please notify us of any grant application in which the IGM Genomics Center is listed as a resource both when they are submitted and when they are funded. Send the PDF and any notifications to kjepsen@ucsd.edu.
