We employ and develop high-throughput sequencing and biochemical techniques to further define the principles governing gene regulation and chromatin organization, using high-magnitude stimulus responses in immune cells and transcription-factor mediated reprogramming of cancer cells as model systems. Further, we work on making chromatin profiling methods suitable for clinical diagnostics use, and in collaborations with clinicians and industry explore their utility to characterize and monitor disease and predict treatment outcomes.
