We are a small lab, working on problems with an applied algorithmic flavor, with a focus on Genomics, Population Genetics, and Computational Mass Spectrometry. We are investigating the signatures of selection, the patterns of genomic variation which drift in a mixing population. Selective pressures, demography, and natural events, change allele frequencies in dramatic ways leaving a fossil record of our genetic history. We design algorithmic tools to identify these patterns.
