Our lab focuses on the genetics and molecular mechanisms underlying ophthalmic diseases with emphasis on retinal degeneration. We study patient tissue, iPSC and mouse models and utilize genomics and epigenomics technologies to identify genetic causes of retinal diseases in order to understand molecular pathology.
